Its Here, But…

I was up really fucking early today, before noon actually. I got the computer, cant remember at what time it came. Took a couple pictures, unpacked it, took a couple more pictures,

I plugged it in and hooked everything up, and it started up all nice and dandy. Got to the desktop, and im thinking, “Sweet, better start my downloads”. I open internet explorer to download Firefox, and right when the window opens, the screen freezes. I’m thinking, “ok this cant be happening”. So i restart and boot it up again.

But this time and every time after it doesn’t get so far. So after about the third time, i start to get the error: “A read disc error occurred. Press ctrl-alt-del.”, and sometimes the monitor wont even turn on.

I contacted both, Newegg and the manufacture IBuyPower. I’m probably just gonna deal with Newegg. To ship it back.

Track your packages with Boxoh.com

boxohcomSeveral months ago when i coding my google maps extension, i was looking around for scripts that use google maps. I had also just made a purchase and decided to see if some one made a tracker that uses google maps. That search led me to THIS blog post. I was able to track my shipment knowing where it is in the process along the way.

Earlier today i remembered that site and went to find it, only to see that the little script had been majorly upgraded and move to a new dot com address. That address is Boxoh.com. Very simple idea, with a very simple/great looking theme to all of it. So if you ever want to track your package in a more visual style. Check it out.

I just watched this over on WoW Insider just a few moments ago, and thought to my self, “Omg this is just amazing. Iv also hadn’t posted in a while so ill post this video”.

The maker did a tremendous job and syncing the vocals to the animation. Great work. The song isn’t that bad either, if your in to that genre of music.

Purched a new computer

new_comp_previewThis morning my sister’s laptop wasn’t working right, so she blamed me. And of course it wasn’t something i had done. She said i cant use it anymore, so that is the final push for me to find a computer. So i went onto NewEgg.com and found one.

This is the computer i chose: CLICK HERE. Its relatively cheap, yet still relatively powerful. Tell me whatcha think. Was it worth it, or a waist of money.

Ill update more on this when i get it, but it looks like ill be able to play wow on max graphic settings. Woot.
