Check out this Sweet Mural

Almost 2 years ago, (i think) a group of people had finely had enough with the graffiti covered train track overpass out where i live that they painted a Mural over it. It is a really nice Northwest themed Mural. Take the time to go to full screen and view the whole mural.

Me and my mom didnt think it would last this long with out getting tagged, but i guess everyone respects the work that went into it and dont want to ruin a piece of artwork.

P.s: Isnt google street view so kool? And what are the odds that the google street view car came out here?

WordPress 3.0

So yesterday WordPress 3.0 was officious released. So if you have not updated yet, go update now. “Do it, do it now!”

Along with the changes and new features that come with 3.0, comes a new theme. I really like it. So, i decided to use it. The only thing is the sidebar wasn’t wide enough (and some other things), so instead of modifying the theme and loosing the edits when its updated, i just made a child theme. Love this ability, because all i need is about 20 lines in a css file. Its awesome.

But yea. WordPress 3.0. UPDATE NOW!!! :)

iPhone 4.0 wishes

While they are sill fresh in my head I thought I’d jot down some things I’d like to see in the iPhone 4.0 OS and my reasoning behind them. I know 4.0 is already out. (currently in beta correct?) But there are still a lot of unknown APIs that might be in there.

API for apps to turn up the brightness.
When your laying in bed staring at the screen, you want it kinda dark. But when you need to find something on your desk when your to lazy to find and turn on the lamp, you open your iPhone (or in my case, iPod touch) and have to turn up the brightness just to use the damn flashlight app.

The ability to remove the default apps.
Come on the average Joe wont ever use the stocks app? What about ‘Voice Memos’? I have a iPod touch, i cant even use it. And what if i find a better notes app, or a better calendar app?

Option to not lock the screen when docked.
Its not like its going to drain the battery? Main thing id use it for is iTunes remote. Just having the album art there is kinda kool. And it makes it easier to control. But having to unlock it to control it, does kinda suck.

This winter SUCKED

I was just surfing my site (is that weird?) and i found my post i made back in the winter of 2008-2009. You can find the post here. Its the one with the best pictures.

Well after seeing those pictures i realized that this last winter (2009-2010) really fucking sucked. We didn’t get any fucking snow, at least where i live. It wasn’t until the official first day of spring did we get a inch of snow. WTF Mother Nature?

You know, i didn’t get out much during that winter, or this last one either. I really should get out more and play in the snow. Ill try to play in the snow more next year. That is if it even snows.
