Its time to say good bye to the current version of my WoWMap Project. Dont worry, a newer version is in the works. But since the current version is so outdated I feel that its time to take down the sub-domain. It uses Kohana 2, Google Maps API v2 and pre-cata tiles. Also the code hasnt even been touched in nearly 2 years.
So today im makin this post to say good bye to the old WoWMap. Farewell!

I can remember back in BC when i was playing i was thinking of new abilities that i wished my hunter could have. And not to long ago i learned that hunters (and even warlocks) get a new version of the ability “Stay”. It works the exact same way i had thought back in BC.

You click it and get a green targeting circle. And wherever you click, your pet will go there. Even if its out of range or on a impossible to climb cliff face.
The Wowhead team got to visit blizzard HQ. There was a press conference, alot of pictures taken, and a exclusive interview with the man (crab?) himself, Ghostcrawler!

Not to long ago Miyari of Wowhead.com posted this video on their blog and i felt like sharing it. You can find the post HERE.
It is a different type of machinima that you dont see. As in it uses the skins of WoW characters but not the animations or them being in the game’s world. Its fantastic!
Wrath of the Gnoll King was an entry into Alienware’s Rise to Power contest by Necka. It was recently featured on WoW.com WoW Moviewatch column (found here) and i thought i share it on my site.
This video was inspired by a similar story line in Dark Legacy Comics, where the NPCs of the World … of Warcraft take over.
