Check out this Sweet Mural

Almost 2 years ago, (i think) a group of people had finely had enough with the graffiti covered train track overpass out where i live that they painted a Mural over it. It is a really nice Northwest themed Mural. Take the time to go to full screen and view the whole mural.

Me and my mom didnt think it would last this long with out getting tagged, but i guess everyone respects the work that went into it and dont want to ruin a piece of artwork.

P.s: Isnt google street view so kool? And what are the odds that the google street view car came out here?

Been a long ass time

Yea, iv kinda fallen of the face of the earth, at least with posting to my site that is. I still post to twitter from time to time.

But to get back to posting, im going to post a short list of what iv been doing. (in no specific order)

  • Started PvPing and working on the pvp set.
  • Quit playing WoW (tho i think im coming back)
  • Watched Tv/Movies
  • Messed around with my laptop and broke the Ubuntu install.

As you can see i really haven’t done much. There are a lot of things i want to do but can because of one or another reason.

Like i want to make a website built with the Kohana Framework. Love that framework, so easy to understand and use. But for me its hard to code with out a theme. And im not really good at designing a theme.

I am also looking forward to the changes in cataclysm. I cant wait for the expansion.

The New Pet Stay

I can remember back in BC when i was playing i was thinking of new abilities that i wished my hunter could have. And not to long ago i learned that hunters (and even warlocks) get a new version of the ability “Stay”. It works the exact same way i had thought back in BC.

You click it and get a green targeting circle. And wherever you click, your pet will go there. Even if its out of range or on a impossible to climb cliff face.

Fluxbb 1.4

Fluxbb might not be as big or as popular as WordPress. But it is superiorly simpler code wize, and that is why i like Fluxbb. If your unaware, Fluxbb is a fork of the forum software Punbb. You can read their full story on their about page.

Well what im trying to get at is they just released their new version. Version 1.4 is based upon the 1.2 source, so its similar but its got alot of improvements. You can check out their Announcement Post here with a list of all the major changes.

Congratulation Fluxbb dev team on your truly first release.

On a side note, i updated my Default avatar for the 1.4 release, and i should be releasing my Usermap mod soon (if im not being super lazy).

WordPress 3.0

So yesterday WordPress 3.0 was officious released. So if you have not updated yet, go update now. “Do it, do it now!”

Along with the changes and new features that come with 3.0, comes a new theme. I really like it. So, i decided to use it. The only thing is the sidebar wasn’t wide enough (and some other things), so instead of modifying the theme and loosing the edits when its updated, i just made a child theme. Love this ability, because all i need is about 20 lines in a css file. Its awesome.

But yea. WordPress 3.0. UPDATE NOW!!! :)
