Ultimate Hunter Pet Macro

I finely figured it out. A one-stop-shop to Tame Call, Dismiss, Revive, Mend and Controll your pet.

/cast [nopet,btn:2]Tame Beast
/castsequence [nopet,btn:1] reset=5 Call pet, Revive pet
/stopmacro [nopet]
/cast [btn:3]Eyes of the Beast;[btn:2]Dismiss Pet;[target=pet,dead]Revive Pet;Mend Pet

The main line that makes this work great, is the second.

/castsequence [nopet,btn:1] reset=5 Call pet, Revive pet

What this will do is, if you dont have a pet it will first call, then try to Revive it. What makes it so great is some macros make you hold a modifier to rez your despawned pet. With this you just click it twice. If you pet is just gone one, click will call him.

The last line, the second main part of the macro.

/cast [btn:3]Eyes of the Beast;[btn:2]Dismiss Pet;[target=pet,dead]Revive Pet;Mend Pet

If the third line is to take care of the issue of your dead and despawned pet  this line takes care of your pet being dead and still there.

There is also in there several other parts. When you dont have a pet (either its in the stable, dismissed or dead and despawned) and you click button 2 (right-click) you will try to tame pet. When you have a pet and you click button 2  you will dismiss your pet. If you click button 3 (scroll wheel click) you will cast eyes of the beast.

Im still new to tutorials and breakdowns so sorry if it sucks.

Ulduar and Chef’s Hat

WoWScrnShot_090409_023405Its been a while since i posted anything really, so i felt doing a basic personal blog post is better then nothing.

First bit of news is i finely, after being in the new guild i was in for about a week and a half, got to go on a Ulduar 25 run. Iv never been in there, except being pulled in once for a wipe fest on trash and a boss. I feel like i was carried but i do know that i did hold my own with my dps.

A lot of great gear dropped for me two witch i didn’t roll. The first being i didn’t know really know how their system worked so i just sat around dumb founded about being in there. The second so may things were going on, passing out gear, spam from their tracking system, i didn’t see the leader say ask. I was able to get a good shoulder upgrade off of some trash. The [Shoulders of Misfortune] witch you can see in the above screenshot.

Later that night after some farming, i finished the new days cooking daily and noticed i had 102 [Dalaran Cooking Awards] so i went and bought the [Chef's Hat]. Ive got all the cooking recipes, so what else am i gonna buy besides [Northern Spices]. The onlything i dont like about it is my hair style has big bushy side burns, and when i wear that hat they go away. Stupid. You can see the hat in the above screenshot.

My WoW Map

wowmapFor the last month or so, iv been working on a project that utilizes the Google Maps API to make a map from the mini map images in World of Warcraft. There are a couple other other sites that do the exact same thing that im trying to do. MapWoW.com and Wyrimaps.net/wow.

The main reason for me doing this project is because, if you go to Mapwow.com youll see there are ALOT of ads (mostly gold seller ads). And i wanted a site just the same but with out all the damn gold seller adds. And i also wanted a new project to keep me busy and not so bored. Its also a good learning experience for me ( if i remember the stuff i learn :P )

I’v got alot of ideas for things to do to this map and i hope to be able to do them.

Also just be aware that this is my live code, there is no production site. So you might come by and it not working. Most likely it is because im currently working on it, but dont worry about sending me a email about a problem you encounter or even missing marker for that set. Also take a look at my code, and if youve got any suggestions, dont hesitate to email me. Enjoy.

Blizzard to Wowhead Converter – Pets

I dont know if you remember but a while back i wote a php function that will turn blizzards talent builds into wowhead links (link). Well since then blizzard has added hunter pets to the armory, and along with them come their build. So we now need a way to convert that to a wowhead link. Well iv got another function for you.
